We welcome you to

Wood River Assembly of God

Our mission is to restore, build and send.

Pastor Alan Kern and  Laurie

Pastor Kern, who operates in the gifts of the Spirit, has a heart for the broken and to see the lost restored.  In his twenty five years as a pastor, missionary, and evangelist, Pastor Kern has seen God use him to restore, build (train) and send other couples into full time ministry.  Pastor Kern was founding pastor of two churches in Canada, two in South Africa, and he was also a full-time evangelist for five years, traveling all over the U.S., Europe, and Africa to hold revival meetings. He believes that God has sent him to this Valley to help restore the church and contend ,with area pastors, for a  much needed revival in the wood river community.
